On race day, thousands of runners and supporters will make their way into Centurion. Roads around the venue will be busy, parking will be limited, and early arrivals will have the best experience.

Take the Gautrain to Centurion Station.
From there, it’s a short and easy walk to Centurion Rugby Club, the official start and finish venue of the MiWay Wally Hayward Marathon.

Race-Day Gautrain Service
To help runners get to the venue early, Gautrain will operate special early services on race morning.

Parking opens at Gautrain stations: 04:00

First trains depart from end stations: 04:30
This gives you enough time to travel to Centurion Station, walk to the venue, settle in, use the toilets, drop your bag if needed, find your start area and get into race mode without unnecessary pressure.

Gautrain has confirmed the following race-day parking arrangements:

R1 parking applies when you use the Gautrain to and from the event.

A R135 parking fee applies if you park at Centurion Station without using Gautrain for a return train trip.
